Monday

Six owls done, three in progress, one yet to be stitched.

No surprise, as year after year, by the end of October the American Goldfinches leave this area.

I am left with my winter friends, the Lesser Goldfinches.

The males retain their bright yellow all year long.

Puffy and handsome.

So this is what my feeders look like as October comes to an end.

There are several Black-capped Chickadees.

Lots of Golden-crowned Sparrows.

And Rufous Towhees.
They with Juncos, male up my winter mix of birds.
