Finally, the pair of Acorn Woodpeckers have returned near the house.

On Wednesday I saw the male at a peanut feature, on Tuesday the pair worked away on a close in Big Leaf Maple.

This is the female - her eyes are pink.

The male, must be young as he still has blue eyes.

A nice silhouette.

i'm hoping they will now be 'regulars'.
