Hot Hot Hot

\
Everyone has been pretty quiet with the heat we've had lately.
105f on Thursday, 103f on Friday, and 99f on Saturday. It makes morning and afternoon siesta almost required.

The other critters feel the same and are only out and about in the early morning...

...or the late evening.

As usual there are more Rufous Hummers than Anna's.

They all like my Salvias...pink ones...

...and purple ones.

Yep purple ones are good!

Well so are Pink Things!

And find Perfect Perches on plants...

...and plant cages!

This Rufous's feathers were getting blown about on a windy afternoon.

A real case of Ruffled Feathers!

I love it when your kitties are all lined up sleeping on the chairs. So so cute! Love the hummers -- wonder if they feel the heat like we do. Bunnies are so cute! Hope it cools off for you soon. I prefer a dry heat, but that is just too hot period.

Those Hummers are so cute!! Your weather has even been worse than ours although when it gets to a certain point, what are a few more degrees. I'm worried about the big trees. The leaves are getting brown and they look so droopy!

Beautiful hummers with you beautiful flowers!!! We've had HOT heat here too. Today it was cooler, 86 high. Huge difference from 106 & 108 that we had on the same days your high temps were.
Yep not only did your cats rest from the heat - we did too!!!
love Annette
