September Saturday - Farmers' Market

First up, a recent acquisition!  While BIG projects often overwhelm me, I was taken with this set of six small sampler-style motifs.  The designs are by Jeannette Douglas - part of her growing "One, Two, Three" series.

Saturday morning the entire family headed off to the Farmers' Market for breakfast...

It was a lovely morning, and busier than this photo might indicate.
We had pasties, and bagels, and donuts!

Autumn harvests are rolling in now with tomatoes...

and pears...

and apples...

and dahlias and asters...

and radicchio...

and beets...

and yet more apples...

and melons.  Yummy!
Yesterday reached 93F and today is supposed to be 92F.  We are in another period of extended hot weather - very unusual for this time of year.  I'm off to water!

The JD charts are really neat, her work is always a little different.

Wonderful new stash! I am so envious of your farmer's market. The pics of the items are so wonderful. The markets here do not compare.

I also love your new header!

I'll be in Eugene the second week of October. I hope the market won't be closed.

I meant to comment on this when you posted, but it got pushed to the bottom of my list. I just wanted to say that I've had my eye on those JDD charts too - I like the smaller style and the fact that they can be stitched together or individually. I'm not planning on buying these yet so shall be interested in seeing your progress if/when you decide to start them :)
