Bits and Pieces

Today's color theme appears to be bluey-violet.
I worked the little bit on "Cluck Cluck" last night.  I'm continuing with the border, but the color of the heart on the bottom left is also the color of the chicken's comb, so I stitched the some of that as well.

Oh the Iris~  It is remarkable just how many different shades of purple there are in a meadow of wild iris - from the deepest purple to pale, pale violet.  We are to have a couple of "hot" days (70F) so the iris will explode in bloom.

I haven't just been purchasing plants lately!
I bought this extraordinarily cute bird house from The Artisan's Garden.  She makes wonderful bird houses and feeders using bits and pieces of reclaimed materials.

We put it up and within a day there were prospective tenants checking it out.  As of yesterday morning it appeared that we had a "buyer", and they were nest building, and moving in.
