Saturday's Critter

While I saw Barry the Buck Friday morning as six chipmunks, I did not get any photos.  So just a singular Gray Squirrel to share this Saturday.

Eating is a serious business.

Hi, Beth. Awhile back you posted a bird and mentioned you knew what it was because of the large black eye. We put out a little feeder on our upstairs patio railing and we have had several different kinds of birds at the feeder - so far wrens and a few sparrows and several of the birds with the tufted head, large black eyes, and a little brownish under the wings. I've looked through many of your previous posts and just cannot find that blog entry. Can you help? I'm going to go through my bird guides today. BTW, I'm in East Tennessee near Knoxville. I know you are in Oregon (right?) and didn't think we both get the same birds at our feeders.

Thank you for a wonderful bright light to my day, every day.
