A change of pace for Wednesday - a nesting update.
My Dad mowed, and the Violet-green Swallows are swooping down to pick up bits of dried grass.
Nest building has commenced.
Some of the female Anna's continue to nest build.
And I was pleased to see a Chestnut-back Chickadee taking advantage of the nesting material.
I've seen Black-capped chickadees utilize the cotton, but not a Chestnut-backed.
A pretty big load for a little bird!
