What's been going on?
Well a rather scruffy Black-capped Chickadee came by.
Molting or a young bird.
I vote young bird.
Male California Quail
Still no quail families up by the house. Disappointing.
What's going on here?
A group of Purple Martins.
A few days later a got a couple of close ups.
They've not yet settled to perch in any of the trees nearby.
