Only Anna's

The Rufous Hummingbirds have left...

...fortunately many of the Anna's will stay here. 

This gal decided it was bath time...

...slowly landing...

...and we've set down!

Splash!

Look at the water droplets cascading from her wing tips. 

Bath time is private!

And serious.

Drying off...

And back again...

Maybe this is the spin cycle.

Drop of water on the wings.

Stare-down.

Fluffy feathers.

And here's a juvenile male.  See the bits of fuchsia feathers?

Hmmm, it looked like you were being given the evil eye during bath time. We were talking over lunch today that we haven't seen any hummers since at least Thursday. I miss their antics.
