Perhaps you've read or seen the reports of our stormy Pacific NW weather the past couple of weeks.
It certainly has been wet.
On Thanksgiving Day, Dorothy's Creek was dry.
Look at it now!
There are droplets of water everywhere.
The small seasonal creek across the road looks like a fierce alpine stream.
The leaves and oak galls gleam with water.
The Big Creek is broad and brown.
Perfect weather for mushroom.
The Big Creek is brimming at the banks!
A Mahonia leaf.
Foam - an indication of a fiercely flowing stream!
After two years of drought, I will not complain about the rain,

Hi Beth ... I am glad to know you haven't drowned in all the wet! We missed it as we headed to our winter home just before the windstorm hit! Our daughter said the same thing as you did, after all the drought she won't think of complaining!
Wow--you really HAD some rain! I love the pictures of the streams and creeks, and I really LOVE the Oak Gall! That is so cool! Hugs!
Beth, I am so glad you finally got rain! What great pictures!
