It's a Start Anyway

I have the border stitched and am ready to begin stitching the fox.  He is quite a handsome fellow and I am looking forward to sharing him with you.

Who among us does not enjoy the start of a nice sunny day?

Stretch your wings and take in the sun's warmth.

While the Chestnut-backed Chickadees no longer come to the feeders, the Black-capped Chickadees are still regulars.

I see as many as six at a time.

They seem to prefer to hang out in small groups and chatter to one another.

My Lesser Goldfinch hangs out with the Pine Siskins.
You can see the little yellow lump on the right.

No matter how I try, I am unable to get a good clear photo of him.

I don't know why he is always a bit blurry.

The Song Sparrow with quieter colors snaps a crisp clear shot.

As does my brightly colored Steller's Jay.

Even the California Quail on the move photograph well.
It's a mystery - I'll keep trying!
