In honor of the Perseid Meteor Showers this past weekend, I thought it appropriate to begin work on SamSarah Design Studio's "S Is For Star". This is the perfect project to use up some of the bits and pieces of floss I have rattling around.
Continuing in the vein of the Natural World, about two months ago we bought a Trail Camera. The camera senses motion and takes photos night and day. We mounted the camera near a place where the deer ford Dorothy's Creek along a path. After adjusting the height, we now have photos of animals short and tall.
Here are a couple of fawns...
...and a young Buck.
Two deer.
The night photos use an infrared flash which the animals cannot see, and are black and white. Just after midnight ... Here's a raccoon. The flash makes his eyes glow.
At 6:13am as dawn breaks - a Bobcat strolls by from the left.
And here's the Bobcat again at 3:42am.
My sister and father saw the Bobcat in this area about 8:00pm one evening. I continue to hope he'll stroll by while it is still light and I can share a color photograph.

Very cool pics! I have to admit I'd be freaked to have a bobcat so close by. But that's just me. lol! Love your choice for the next stitchy project.

Cool trail cam.
I'd never even heard of a trail camera before...what a great idea! And how much fun to see what gems turn up unexpectedly!!
Very clever idea and a lot of fun seeing what has passed by.
