The End of the Year

I picked up this reindeer after Christmas and have been stitching away on his quilt pattern middle. I still need to frog out the hind leg and redo it with a better thread match. Then there's a bunch of snow to stitch.

This Cooper]s Hawk hung out in the backyard for an hour or so Wednesday afternoon.

So the Bushtits happily worked away on the feeders with peanut halves in the front of the house.

A commenter asked what they were eating and it's peanuts.  They also really like suet.

Here's one waiting its turn at the feeder.

This guy is grabbing a bit of peanut.

Lots of much-needed protein and fat during this cold, snowy weather.

That is such a cute reindeer stitch!! Those little birds do need lots of food in this very cold weather. I hope this will be our last night for awhile with very low temps!! It is suppose to be in the teens tonight. Needless to say I will be spending New Years at home!!!! I hope you and your family will have a healthy and great 2022!
