Who's that making a short chipping noise and lurking behind the tree?

It's a Yellow-rumped Warbler - a FOS bird for me this fall/winter.

They often will come to a suet feeder or eat Bark Butter.

Maybe this guy will hang around this winter.

The white wing bars, the white eye ring, and the pale throat all help to ID him.
