Sunday's Hummers

I'm seeing 2 or 3 hummingbirds most mornings.

 

Often one is up high

This is a female Anna's

I was pleased to have a male buzz on in.

He looks dark and sinister...

...until the light shines just right.

Then he glows!

I usually have 1 or 2 males in residence in the winter. 

And then several younger birds.

This one was a chatterbox.
