I think the satin stitch really makes this piece "pop".
A great, seasonal stitch.
Got all my Woodpeckers but the Sapsucker.
Little male Downy Woodpecker
The larger male Hairy Woodpecker.
Bigger bird, bigger bill.
Female Red-shafted Northern Flicker
Look who popped in!
A female Acorn Woodpecker
And way, way, way far away...
A male Pileated Woodpecker
Five of the six possible woodpeckers - not bad!
