Here's what I've seen the past few days.
The velvet on Barry's antlers has been shed.
The antlers are hard...
and ready for rutting.
A blurry chipmunk - they are few and far between now.
Same with the gray squirrels - only seeing one.
This guy though is pretty reliable.
Peanuts are a siren's call.
There's usually a doe or two as well.

Barry Buck is so handsome. We had a young buck in the back yesterday. I hope he returns.
Barry is nice looking. We have two small bucks on our property, maybe brothers, always together. They have large racks for their size. Probably won't make it to the end of this year:(
