That's a yellow bird!
And here's another one.
A female American Goldfinch gathered up some unprocessed cotton to use as nesting material. Then she dropped it all. It is really too soon for her to be serious. These birds are among the last to nest - in mid to late June.
Not yellow, but still a great bird.
Chestnut-backed Chickadee
The male Black-headed Grosbeak has a bit of yellow down the center of his chest.
They have wide-ranging tastes enjoying sunflower chips, black oil sunflower seeds, suet and peanuts.
Very easy to please!
I am seeing 6-8 at a time.
