Watching sparrows paid off.
I found a White-throated Sparrow among the Golden-crowned Sparrows.
There's the white throat.
And the yellwo in front of the eyes - both clear ID indicators.

Love your PS Autumn stitch. A stitching friend stitched it for me many years ago and it hangs in one of the guest rooms year round. What a beautiful bird!
I love that PS design! The leaves are so pretty. That is also one very pretty little bird!
