I've had a few of my more unusual birds lately.

While I often hear a Bewick's Wren, I don't often see the bird.

This one posed for a moment.

Far more common are the Black-capped Chickadees.

Isn't this an adorable ball of fluff?

I also have a nice group of Chestnut-backed Chickadees.

The two types seem to co-exist without battles.

And here is one of my rarer winter birds.
A White-throated Sparrow.

If you look carefully, you can see the two identifiers - the white patch on the throat and the yellow atop the eyes.

I am hopeful that I will continue to get glimpses as winter moves forward.
