My Bird Calendar Collage

The Little Stitcher - Calendar Year of Birds Collage

I often start a series, but rarely end up stitching all the patterns in a series. This then was an exception - I loved each and every one of these birds.

ROW #1: Coal Tit, Chaffinch, European Goldfinch, Eastern Bluebird
ROW #2: Tufted Titmouse, European Robin
ROW #3: Yellow Wagtail, Pied Flycatcher, Blue Tit, Bullfinch, Blue Chaffinch, Bluethroat

I continue to have big hawks hanging around.

The Red-tailed Hawks are less disruptive to my feeder birds that Cooper's Hawks.

Look at all the American Goldfinches!

This is the first winter I've had them day after day.

I watched this guy for 30 minutes or so, none of the smaller birds payed him any mind.

Super hawk shots, Beth! The pops of yellow of the American Goldfinches provide great color for a winter day.
