No sign of bears lately and that's just fine with me.
What U am seeing are lots of bunnies - most with beaten-up ears.
A cute bunny butt with crumpled ears.
I didn't notice until I looked at the photos on the computer that is poor bunny had bloody ears.
I wonder if the buck bunnies bite ears when fighting with one another.
They do chase each other around the yard.
But I have never seen a Bunny Battle.
Peace bunnies!
The gray squirrels also chase each other.
That's the gray squirrel way.
The Chipmunks scamper.
They appear to be a bit more peaceable.
The does are cantankerous now and kick at last year's fawns.
I think several are pregnant and probably have no patience.

Poor little bunny! Today I noticed that one of the two male cardinals seemed to have a gash in his neck... Not sure if it is from an injury or part of molting still. Sigh. Been chasing squirrels away from my feeders constantly... there are either three or four harassing me now! Grrrr...
