It's May Day! While I never celebrated the day with sheep, as I grade school child I did make paper floral May Basket Bouquets. Did you do the same?
The French celebrate May Day with small bouquets of Lily of the Valley.
I do love the scent of this flower.

:D Had to laugh Beth. As I am still on these stupid, heavy meds for the headaches, at first glance I did believe those to be poodles! ;)
I do love Lilly of the Valley. Too bad some in Seattle have changed this day into a nasty protest day where many things are destroyed. It should be about flowers and the world would be much happier.
I love lily of the valley! In my finishing stack is a sweet little crewel-work lily of the valley that my mother stitched probably 40 years ago! It was never framed and I plan to make it into an ornament, of course!!
