Sunny Squirrely Saturday

We had a lovely sunny Saturday.
It started out with several chipmunks eating at the woodpile.

Next up this squirrel scoped out the big bird feeder.

later this gray squirrel did the same thing.

But this is the squirrel who really seized the day!
Eureka!

He cleverly figured out how to climb up my new pole system.

And gorged on shelled sunflower seeds.

He was so darned cute - how could you get mad?*

*My sister gets the photo credits for this series. (And the penguin at the bottom of the photos is part of a gel stick montage to keep the birds from flying into the window.)

Around here, the squirrels are a constant problem with bird feeders. I think they are cute, but bird lovers have a constant battle with them over their bird feeders.

Cute pictures of the squirrels. You have to admire the last little guy for managing to get to the prize.
