Hmmm...Eggs. Well yes it is 'Easterish' but also kinda' sorta' works with my May theme of birds. I messed up the color of the center egg and that meant that I had to mix up the colors of several of the other eggs. So this is a unique one-of-a-kind finish!

It's time for another Garden Party over at An Oregon Cottage
Yesterday I got to visit a neighbor's garden.

She is a true Plant Artist.

She designed garden and sited each and every plant.

She has an eye for color...

and texture...

and the unusual like these orange Meconopsis.

A Dogwood and fern play off of each other with interesting form and color.

A Podophyllum - you can see why they're familiarly called May Apples.

An airy Thalictrum.

Every plant plays well with its neighbors.

She delights in big leaf Hostas.

Here's an unusual Vibernum.

And Dogwood

And a display of Rhododendrons.

The Poppy is 'Patty's Plum'. Such a lovely color.

GREEN!

A very pretty Verbascum.

So many pretty plants and a most generous gardener too.
She shared a clump of her variegated Iris with me!

One year ago today my Mom and I visited the iconic British Museum and Russell Square.

I see nothing wrong with your egg finished piece! It's so cute as it is... whatever you improvised, worked! Lovely tour of your neighbor's garden. The Plum Poppy really jumps out at me, lover of all things Purple! Hugs!
