Oh, but have the Flickers ever been active! Yesterday I saw two guys on our front walkway. I think a father and son perhaps. They were talking and talking to each other.
And suddenly it is Pine Siskin Land around here.
They are eating sunflowers as well as the nyjer seeds.
I have a flock of over thirty birds.
Each morning, the Violet-green swallows swoop and soar, and chatter and preen.
The Quail are out and about too.

What great pictures! Did not see much in the way of birds today, but it is cold!! Yesterday evening we found that a robin has made a nest on top of our upstairs porchlight! I will be watching that spot! Hugs!
So many beautiful birds. Our feeder has been slow since the trip. I think our birds found somewhere else to eat!
