And oh joy - I've been seeing and hearing Thrushes this past week or so.

Swainson's Thrushes are secretive...

...and usually are lurking in the brush and behind leaves and branches.

So, pretty cool that this bird briefly came out in the open!

Here it is with its speckled breast - just like an American Robin - another member of the Thrush family.
