Monday's Birds

Back to cross stitching again, and my Kinglet just needs legs to be complete.
The Kinglets winter here and are leaving the area for the summer breeding grounds.

They've been replaced by Violet-green Swallows.

With days and days of rain, I'd not seen them for a while, but they've returned and are once again house hunting.

There appear to be a couple that meet with their approval.

Sunday morning I was thrilled to hear the liquid trill of Tree Swallows.

Such a beautiful blue bird.

They are checking out the same nesting box they occupied last year.

Welcome back!
