Happy Easter

HAPPY EASTER !

Elsie Greenwell Upton and Olivia Upton Adams
Spring 1957 (Easter)

Do you remember when women dressed in their Sunday best for Easter?

These two lovely ladies are my great-grandmother, Elsie Margaret Greenwell Upton, and her sister-in law Olivia Upton Adams. Olivia Upton Adams was Otto Upton's only sister.  She was married to George Adams.  They lived on the Oregon Coast and later in Eugene.
Olivia's name is not pronounced "Oh-liv-ee-ah", but rather "Oh-live-ah"
(with a long i sound).

Wonderful family photos, I have a picture of my mom in a big hat holding mine and my sister's hands. We were all fixed up for Easter Sunday!
