BIG NUISANCE
BIG TROUBLE
This young bear has started coming by the backyard multiple times during daylight hours.
This was Thursday morning at 8am.
I'd not yet put out the bird feeders.
He did slurp up some bits that had fallen from the hot pepper feeders along the deer fence.
Yes, he found it very hot. He kept sticking out his tongue and munch LOTS of grass in attempt to overcome the capsaicin. I'm going to leave the feeders down for several days and see what happens.

It's cute the way he/she sticks the nose in the air to get smells from farther away. I have enough trouble with raccoons, can't imagine what it's like to deal with bears raiding the feeders.
While he is a nuisance, he is a handsome fella. Hope he stops coming by so you can hang your feeders again.
