But the BIG surprise
...was a bobcat on the edge of the back patio!
I was eating dinner and looked up and the cat as at the kitchen door.
By the time I got my camera it had moved to edge of the patio.
It was on high alert - looking and hunting.
And FYI on Thursday night a bear came through the backyard and bent over some of my shepherd's hooks.

Hopefully, the squirrels and chipmunk made themselves scarce. That bobcat looks very healthy and quite daring to be on your patio. I had been wondering if the bear were waking up.
