Wednesday's Walk

The recent rain has refreshed things.  Let's go take a look.

Bright green licorice moss.

Bit of color.

Oak galls

Someone's summer home

I watched a mixed flock of kinglets and chickadees in the oak trees.  Here's a chickadee.

Mosses and lichens

All the leaves have fallen...

...except for the willows!

The Big Creek

Osier dogwood stems

The beaver dam

Nootka rose hips

Nootka rose leaves!

Oh, it's begun to rain. Time to seek shelter.

It is amazing what a bit of rain can do to refresh things in nature.
