I found two more skeins of Hickory Sticks. I think the skein on the right is a much better match with what I've got going on the reindeer. So I'm going to frog the back leg and restitch it. I cannot 'unsee' the color contrasts that I now have, so hope to be much happier after this change.
Sometimes the quail jump up on the deer fence to check out the delights available there. You can see a Chestnut-backed Chickadee in the background.

Hope the found Hickory Sticks work out better! I am impressed with the quail leaping to the deer fence and feeder.
