I need to get back on board with eBird and start taking morning counts of the backyard birds and recording them on eBird. In the next few weeks should see the return of lots of summer migrants: American Goldfinches, Grosbeaks, Flycatchers, and Warblers.
Right now I can count on the woodpeckers for entertainment.

And here's a male.
They are now ' talking' and drumming each morning.
Spring is Courting Time!

It's always a pleasure to see your birding pictures.
Pretty Easter stitch, Beth! I am counting the day until we see the first hummer!
What a cute stitched piece. I love Flickers, they are so pretty.
