We got a bit of sunshine Friday morning before the clouds and fog rolled back in.
My Evening Grosbeaks have been AWOL the last week or so. I've heard them chirping, but they've not frequented the bird feeders.
Friday one reappeared amongst a group of starving Steller's Jays.
It was good to have him back again.
Also present: Chickadees
and Juncos
and bunnies
and deer.

I was thinking of you yesterday when I opened a package from Amazon containing two gorgeous bird photography books. My neighbour recently spotted a waxwing in his garden - this is quite out of the ordinary for us.
What a sweet company - lovely shots.
Love seeing all your birds, bunnies and the deer.
You do have such an amazing variety of wonderful wildlife near your home!
