A Tough (and Still Cute) Survivor Sun 12/2

Back on May 7th I posted about a one-eyed bunny I'd observed.

He reappeared last Monday.

I am more than a little amazed that he is still alive.

Having but one eye must be a onerous burden for a little bunny.

'Prey' after all, must always be on guard, and alert and aware.

From the left side he looks just like any other bunny.

I was glad to see him having a bit of dinner as the winter sun set behind the hills.

Always hoping the underdog or in this case bunny wins. We have an old , beat up feral cat in my neighborhood we don't see him for months at a time....but when we do we always cheer "look Louie is back" my name for him neighbors now call him that. I understand the thrill of seeing the one eyed bunny back. Good luck bunny.

He must be a tough little cookie, I hope he survives the winter.

Animals are amazingly adaptable. My daughter's bunny broke a rear leg in the birthing process, but its "uselessness" hasn't stopped her - she makes it very useful pushing off from a wall and gets a huge head start on her journey!

With all the wildlife in your yard, it's great that little bunny is able to survive.

Your new header looks great!

Oh my goodness, what a hardy little survivor. Does he hang out with his bunny kin to help alert him to danger?? I hope he survives the winter too!!!
