They make me happy!

Who you ask?

The Acorn Woodpeckers, that's who.

They are so bright and cheerful - and their 'talking' is also amusing.

This is a female.

And here's the male.

This pair comes by a couple of times a day.

I wish I had more food for them, but the Band-tailed Pigeons are eating EVERYTHING I set out, so I have to ration what I do.

Thankfully the Pigeons can't get on the tail-prop suet feeder. 

So the Acorn Woodpeckers and Flickers can eat in peace.

That is, until the bears come by!
