Saturday's Critters

So...we had a cub and sow in the backyard

around 6pm on Wednesday. 

This is the cub - last year's cub.

A small bear - about a year old.

Looking for trouble as young ones do.

I know it looks impressive.

But in comparison, here's Mom!

And yes she's looking right at me.

She is a chonk. Fat and healthy. And protective.

Yes, I was extremely respectful.
