Do you see anything usual about this bird?
Answer: It's missing most of its tail feathers. That might be indicative of a close encounter with a hawk or other predator. It can fly just fine and the feathers will regrow.

Cute Kiss stitch! Sweet small birds! I noticed the tail feathers weren't there on the Song Sparrow.
