I've been seeing a small Sharp-shinned Hawk with some regularity. 

The jays and squirrels pretty much ignore it as they are much larger. 

It does spook all the smaller birds and quail and bunnies and chipmunks.

All cautious prey.

It does not hang around so I mostly just let it be.  

Look at this little acrobat.

I had a pair of Bushtits come by.
