The Violet-green Swallows are back in force.
Flying past nesting boxes.
Perching in the eaves above the boxes.
Perching, watching, and flying.
Several birdhouses / nesting boxes appear to be in play.
I counted five pairs of birds and assured them there was room for all.
Last year was disappointing as only 2 pair built nests and raised a brood.
I'm hoping for increased numbers this year.

Another sign of spring! They are so pretty.
I do so love Swallows. They are such sweet birds, great parents and have a loving sense of community. I hope you have at least 5 nesting pairs this year. What a treat.
