The last of the fog is lifting, let's take a walk.
We still have bits of fog about, but it isn't nearly as thick as it has been...or as cold.
We haven't had much rain this month either.
The color on this walk comes from lichens and mosses.
And the contrast of the cones against the boughs.
Otherwise, our walk is January dismal.
It's good mushroom weather.
This is my favorite vignette. I'm enamored with this soft, feathery grass.
I found this print - it looks pretty big. Too big for a deer, it might be an Elk. We'll have to see if our Trail Camera 'captured' anyone unusual.

So cute - well done! Glad to see the fog is getting better.
Glad the fog is lifting Beth, January can be such a dismal month. We've had some snow but not enough to cause us any problems - some parts of Scotland got over a foot of snow.
I'm glad the fog is lifting a bit!
Congratulations on the finish! It's perfect for you. :)
That's so cute and perfect for a birdwatcher such as yourself! Very nice!
aww so sweet..well done dear..
love for you x
I'm sure you must be thrilled that the fog is dissipating, Beth! That certainly lasted a long time.
Very cute finish--those Trilogy "Happy" designs are so adorable.
Yup--I love those Happy Happy charts too! I never saw them until YOU started stitching some... :) A great finish! I will get mine done by spring! I like the soft feathery grasses too! Hugs!
Happy Chirp Chirp Day is adorable! I like the moss. I guess you need to if you are going to love the NW. We had a delightful rainy mild(not foggy) day!
Not quite a cardinal, which I know you miss out on, but he's still super adorable. :)
Cute finish! Glad the fog is starting to lift.
What a cute little design! So sweet :)
Loved the walk, especially that feathery grass.
