Snowy Morning Snow Stitch

Keeping with my January theme - a Sam Sarah group of snowmen!

We got teased this weekend with the possibility of LOTS of snow...
That didn't happen.

Sunday morning we awoke to a skiff of snow.

And had a nice snow shower from 8-8:30am.

I know you New Englanders and Mid-West types will laugh at this paltry showing...

The Sparrows were not amused.

Still the trees looking pretty with a dusting of snow.

The poor Hummingbird huddled in the Daphne.

The snow and cold did not stop this small hawk.

And hey, even a little snow can create a Winter Wonderland.
It looks as thought it snowed a bit Sunday night - I'll have to do some exploring after sunrise.

Lovely chart. Looking forward to see more of it.
Gorgeous pictures as usual. Somehow I love love love winter pictures. Snow looks so very lovely. Even more when you're sitting in the Australian heat under the airco the very same time.

Lovely pictures. It make you realise how hard life can be for our wildlife. I like the January snowmen.

That is going to be a darling Sam Sarah! We had dire Winter Storm Warnings out for Saturday night into Sunday. The news on Sunday said that some had a dusting and that the little town next to us had 4 inches! We had maybe an inch, but by midday it was gone. Pretty morning, easy driving -not a bad combination.

Love the snowmen of course. :)
I think we are being lulled into a false sense of security. 20's one day - 50's the next and then POW! - a foot of snow. :D Until then, I enjoyed your snowy pictures.

Love your new stitch -- so cute! Love your header too! As for the snow -- that's the perfect kind. Not much, but just a taste. I'm afraid we're going to get that icy stuff instead of snow. Not a good thing!

We were supposed to get a dusting of it this weekend but NOPE. Still no snow this winter for this New Englander.

I hope the snow doesn't find it's way over here after me saying that our weather seemed to be mirroring yours.

Looks like you have about as much snow as we do, Beth. More is on the way tomorrow and I'm not happy as that was the day I was supposed to make the five hour drive to my parents :(

Love your newest project :)
