What a fun little piece. I'm especially pleased with it as it has my three favorite Winter motifs: a cardinal, a mitten, and a snowman.
And speaking of Winter...
I was very pleased to have a Winter visitor return. This charming little bird is a Yellow Rumped Warbler.
The ornithological websites say that he should be here year-round, but for the past two years now, I've only spotted him in the Winter. A bit of yellow on the throat, the breast, under the wings, and on the tail faethers keep him from being nondescript.
The cold weather brought out the woodpeckers - A Red Breasted Sap Sucker.
And a Hairy Woodpecker.

You have such a lovely mix of birds visiting your garden.
I would love to see a woodpecker only ever heard one.
A snowman and a cardinal - two of my favorites on one piece!
