Another nice addition to my growing mitten collection. This one appears to be a 'single' without a mate in sight. Isn't that how it goes?
It was cold enough this past weekend, I think the deer and birds would have worn mittens if they'd been offered.
I had a group of three deer...
...and a group of two.
This House Finch provided a bit of color in the brambles.
This Junco was awaiting a turn at the peanut feeder.

I so admire where you live!! Lovely finish!!
Congratulations on the mitten finish! Love the nature pictures!
I don't know why, but seeing those deer makes me want to brush them down lol. I'm sure they'd love that, right? (maybe being trampled by deer is on some bucketlist of things I need to experience in life?)
lovely finish :)
As is usual - I love you stitching and your wildlife. :) You always have the lovelliest sharings....
How wonderful to be able to see deer. My bird knowledge is increasing following your blog. A Junco is a new one for me?
Love the mitten--and I really love those pictures of nature that you shared today--
Thanks, Smiles, Di
Those mittens are really cute! I love the birds but the deer?? Last spring they made quite a meal of several of my lovely flowers!
mmmm a bit like only finding one sock out of a pair ... and those deer are lovely and poor birds brrrr ...love mouse xxxxx
I'm a recent visitor here. And living in a city as Lisbon (Portugal) makes me appreciate even more your surrondings (I think I've told you that already). Here I mostly see buildings although Lisbon is a beatiful place to visit even in Winter. It is sunny sin ce November and yes, we can wait for a dry Summer with fires unfortunately all around.
The mittens are lovely, but the snowmen make my day!
Hugs from Portugal
