He's back!
This male Anna's will hanging out all winter into spring defending this territory against other males.
Male Anna's are promiscuous and he'll mate with every female in the area beginning as early a February.
Mating over, his responsibilities are done.
He does not help build a nest, watch over the eggs, or raise the baby birds.
He just looks lovely.
And is rather full of himself.
