The Quail Couple is still around.
I saw them yet again Sunday evening.
The young female is comfortable near a chipmunk.
As it is breeding season,
...she's the one calling all the shots.
The male just clucks and runs after her if she darts away.

Sweet rabbit stitch! I finally stitched it for myself in March (actually, I started stitching the blocks from that chart as my take along project in December 2023 and I have 5 of them stitched). Glad to see the quail couple are still around!
