Oodles of Anna's

There has been SO much hummingbird activity this past week.

They are the first birds to arrive in the morning.

I have two feeders in the front and now have six feeders in the back.

And the last birds to leave in the evening.

The backyard Anna's appear to have assigned battle stations!

This bird watches from the wire fence.

Look at this - three birds sharing a feeder!

It makes them easier to count when they deign to hang out together.

A bit of yellow pollen on the bird on the left.

Such a pretty green back.

You should now recognize this female bird.

Still manning her station!

What a treat it is to have them all year long.
