End of July Bird Recap

Sorry for the delay. Still in post-vacation recovery mode.

The Evening Grosbeaks were here at the end if July. I have not seen them since I returned on Sunday.

Wow--a young Great Horned Owl! I saw one this spring, but it was pretty hidden so I am hoping to see one more clearly on Labor Day weekend, at a nearby refuge that will have Open Roads Days (more access). So, maybe the Grosbeaks have started to migrate.. sad face, cause it sure was great to see them through your blog! Along with all the birds that visit you! Hugs!
