No Snow Yet (As of Tuesday Evening)

The skies...

...look dark and ominous.
Snow?

Boy is the hazel loaded with catkins.

See?

Still lots of fruit on the Hawthorn.

Where are the robins and cedar waxwings?

We Might Get Snow

Design - Cookie Cutter Charmers - Mitten (kit)
Designer - Charland Designs
Fabric - 30 count Natural linen
Fibers - DMC and Threadgatherer linen overdye
Started - 16 January 2012
Completed - 18 January 2012

The border color is a Threadgather linen overdye.  It was challenging to use as it was bulky and delicate at the same time.

 The snowmen remain hopeful.

I've even got mittens and a hat ready to go.

Please send me enough snow to build a snowman this Winter.

Please!

First off, a female Anna's

She posed nicely for me.

Pretty, muted colors.

Next up, through a dirty window...

Saturday's Critters - One Year Ago

A post from one year ago.

I wish Barry was still around.

Gray Squirrel

Do you recognize this deer?

It's Barry the Buck.

He is now antler-free.

The holes look painful, but I do not think they are.
